Warranty conditions

These conditions describe the voluntary manufacturer's warranty offered by Office Walker [legal entity name] for the Office Walker walking pad. This warranty is granted in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights as a consumer under EU and German law (Gewährleistung). Where this warranty and your statutory rights overlap, the more favourable applies.

1. What is covered

Office Walker warrants that all parts of the product are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal domestic and office use for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of delivery. If a covered part fails through no fault of the owner during this period, Office Walker will supply a replacement part free of charge, including standard shipping within the EU.

Because the Office Walker contains no motor and no electronics, replacement is designed to be carried out by the owner in approximately five minutes using the supplied tool. Office Walker provides written and video instructions for every replaceable part.

2. What is not covered

• Damage caused by the owner or a third party, including dropping, forcing, overloading beyond the stated maximum user weight, or any use outside the product's intended purpose.
• Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, unauthorised modification, or failure to follow the care instructions.
• Normal cosmetic ageing of natural wood (for example colour change from sunlight), and ordinary wear of the walking surface beyond what is consistent with the stated use.

In cases that are not covered, Office Walker will still supply replacement parts where available, charged at cost plus shipping.

3. How to make a claim

Contact us at johannes@office-walker.com with your serial number and a description (and, where helpful, a photo) of the part that has failed. Once a claim is approved, we ship the replacement part to your registered address. The owner fits the part using the supplied instructions; the product does not need to be returned for parts replacement. 4. Registration and serial number

Each Office Walker carries a unique serial number. Warranty service is tied to that serial number and to the account and email address under which it is registered. We recommend registering your product after delivery so that replacement parts can be dispatched quickly and so that the warranty can be transferred if you later sell the product.

5. Transfer to a new owner

This warranty is transferable. If you sell or give away your Office Walker, the remaining warranty period transfers with the product, provided the new owner is registered with us so that the serial number is re-linked to the new owner's name and email address. Until the new owner is registered, warranty service remains associated with the previous registered account. [Confirm transfer process and any documentation requirements with legal counsel.]

6. Duration and start date

The warranty period of 5 years begins on the date of delivery to the first owner and is not extended or restarted by the supply of a replacement part. A replacement part is covered for the remainder of the original period.

7. Relationship to statutory rights

Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits the mandatory statutory warranty rights (Gewährleistung) you have as a consumer, or any rights under applicable consumer-protection law. This manufacturer's warranty is a voluntary, additional promise.
