Testing the First Real-Size Prototype of Our Manual Walking Pad
A big step forward for the Office Walker: We have the first real-size prototype. It's pretty loud but that's expected at this stage. The most important thing: It operates smoothly. But see for yourself.

Lots of noise but smooth moves
In this phase, we focused on testing the movement of the walking pad which has bearings currently rolling directly on wood. That's obviously not ideal but sufficient for the moment. Most importantly we found that the rolling is surprisingly smooth overall. There are minor hiccups here and there, but nothing that can't be refined with further iterations.
Weight and portability
The current prototype weighs just over 20 kilos, which makes it comparable to electric treadmills and walking pads in terms of weight. It's somewhat heavy, but still fairly easy to maneuver and use. This aligns with our goal of making the Office Walker a practical daily tool.
We're thrilled with the progress so far and eager to tackle the next challenges in enhancing movement functionality.
